As the demand for internet access spikes and cloud applications increase, SD-WAN has evolved and enabled the acceleration for more innovation. In an effort to extend SD-WAN into the LAN, SD-WAN 2.0 allows for application enhanced security and analytics. The 2.0 architecture, proposed by the Open Networking User Group (ONUG) also paves the path for SD-WAN gateways to easily move between cloud VPCs.
As an ONUG Proof-of-Concept (PoC), Itential demonstrated its multi-domain network automation solution:
- Automating zero-touch SD-WAN turn-up
- Enabling enterprises to automate across multiple network & cloud domains and entire operational processes
- Leveraging integrations with Viptela, VeloCloud, Service Now, Zscaler, and AWS or Azure for complete end-to-end network automation.
