Itential Raises $20 Million Series B to Advance Network Automation in the Enterprise

Ian founded Itential in 2014 with Chris Wade and currently serves as the company’s president and CEO. He has more than 20 years of experience as a CEO or executive vice president leading companies including Nokia, Osmose Utilities Services, Windward Technology Group, Verso Technologies and ReachView.
After co-founding ReachView to provide service assurance solutions to large enterprise and telecommunications companies, he led the company to be acquired by Alcatel-Lucent. He was also a driving force with Windward before it was acquired by Verso.
Chris Wade is Co-Founder and CTO of Itential, responsible for guiding the innovation and development of the company’s flagship infrastructure orchestration platform. He co-founded Itential in 2014 to accelerate network automation adoption and transform how enterprises operate complex infrastructure. Chris is a long-time advocate of automation and is now focused on the next evolution: agentic operations, where AI agents can reason, plan, and act while changes remain trusted, governed, and auditable. Under his technical leadership, Itential is advancing agentic orchestration that blends reasoning intelligence with deterministic automation to safely scale outcomes across cloud, network, and hybrid environments.
With over two decades of experience driving growth for B2B enterprise technology companies, Kristen leads Itential’s marketing efforts to accelerate the adoption and expansion of its innovative products and services.
Before joining Itential, Kristen held marketing leadership roles at PowWow Mobile and StarMobile, where she helped establish both companies as leaders in enterprise application development. She also founded a consulting business, serving as a fractional CMO for early-stage startups.
Kristen is passionate about scaling businesses, building high-performing teams, and leveraging data-driven insights to drive demand generation and pipeline growth. She is also an advocate for diversity in technology and innovation.
Jason White is Chief Sales Officer of Itential, responsible for driving the company’s revenue growth. He brings more than two decades of experience scaling SaaS businesses across a wide range of verticals, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering consistent growth across new logos and existing accounts. Most recently, Jason served as CRO at Otelier, and prior to that doubled new and expansion ARR at Vyopta within 18 months, contributing to a successful exit with HP. He spent 19 years at Planview helping shape the sales strategy that fueled exponential growth through two major acquisitions. At Itential, Jason is focused on accelerating the company’s growth ambitions by building a world-class sales organization, deepening customer relationships, and driving enterprise value through disciplined, customer-centered execution.

Prior to establishing Itential, Chris gained a wealth of experience in the SDN, NFV and OSS/BSS markets and held leadership positions at global organizations including Alcatel-Lucent, ReachView Technologies and Micromuse.
