I am very excited to share that Itential, the leading network and cloud automation platform, has secured $20 million in Series B financing led by Elsewhere Partners.

Today is a momentous day not only for our founders, partners, investors, employees, and family, but for our customers and the network teams around the world that trust us to manage and automate their most critical infrastructure. They are our obsession and the driving force behind every action we take.

Advancing Network Innovation

The network is now more critical than ever — across every industry, every geography, every company, digital transformation can’t happen without a modern, distributed network.

We started Itential back in 2014, with a mission to help companies automate their network management and operations. We saw how storage and compute was shifting to the cloud and we knew it was only a matter of time before the network did, too. And it has, particularly as 5G and SD-WAN drive a more highly distributed network that spans across physical, virtual, and multi-cloud infrastructure.

But while the network has moved to the cloud, the way networks are managed is still rooted in manual, human-centered processes. As a result, businesses can’t fully benefit from their cloud migration because they continue to rely on outdated network management procedures. The modern enterprise network should accelerate digital transformation, not bottleneck it.

So, what’s next for us? We’re ready for the enterprise. We’re ready to continue transforming how networks are managed, ensuring compliance across network and cloud infrastructure and providing a simplified low-code way to design and build automations across everything. We’re taking the cloud-native capabilities our platform was built upon and expanding within the broader enterprise with a SaaS-based offering – making it even easier to get started with network automation.

Partnering with the Best

Elsewhere Partners led this round of funding and their partnership is invaluable. Elsewhere helps take software companies like Itential to the next level, through a philosophy that provides “a unique mix of thoughtful capital, subject matter expertise, and an incredible network of seasoned operators.”

One of those seasoned operators is Cam McMartin, who has tremendous experience operating technology companies, such as when he was COO and CFO of SailPoint Technologies (NYSE:SAIL), which he transitioned towards a SaaS hybrid business model from an on-premises solution. His experience will be invaluable as we re-define network management and operations.

I’m excited for what’s next — and thrilled that Elsewhere Partners is here to help us get there.
