What does a product mindset for network automation mean? In short, it’s a recognition that consuming automation tooling to increase the efficiency of existing processes is no longer enough. To truly deliver value to the organization, teams must think about network services as standardized products and deliver services in a consumable way — think about how a developer consumes a public cloud service. The next phase for network automation is delivering that same level of efficiency, and it starts with a product mindset.
