SD-WAN solutions offer a very easy way to configure and onboard their technology through cloud-based controllers and built-in automation. However, what customers quickly realize, especially with very large deployments, is that there are multiple steps across multiple systems that occur outside of the automation provided within the SD-WAN solution. By automating the entire end-to-end process for SD-WAN branch deployment, tremendous benefits can be achieved.
At ONUG Digital Live 2020, Itential presented a PoC that automated the deployment of a new SD-WAN branch office across multiple domains in order to show the enormous benefits of end-to-end automation of SD-WAN deployments.
